Mr. Rudy Coram joined Johnson and Masumi, PC in February of 2019. Prior to joining Johnson and Masumi, Mr. Coram was practicing immigration law in Indianapolis, Indiana for several years. Mr. Coram has successfully handled immigration matters related to Asylum, Special Immigrant Juvenile Visa, Applications for Adjustment of Status, U-Visa, Opening of Guardianship, K-1 visa, Removal Defense, Waivers and Family-Based Immigration.
Mr. Coram has volunteered for the Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic where he was able to provide pro bono services to low income immigrant families. In addition to his professional work, Mr. Coram has taught Public International Law at Taylor University.
Mr. Coram was raised in Lebanon where he obtained his law degree from La Sagesse University in 2000. Subsequently, Mr. Coram earned his LL.M. from Boston University School of Law in 2002 and practiced law until 2006 in Beirut, Lebanon and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates where he concentrated his work on employment agreements, commercial transactions, and construction agreements and in creating various entities such as limited liability companies, offshore companies and joint stock companies. In 2006, Mr. Coram returned to the United States where he earned his J.D. from Indiana University Robert H-McKinney School of Law.
Mr. Coram is a member of the American Immigration Law Association (ALA). He is licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of Indiana with admissions to the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
Mr. Coram is fluent in English, Arabic, French and conversational in Spanish.
