In recent days, several news reports emerged about mass raids by the Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) in 10 major U.S. cities against immigrants, with the intention of arresting and deporting them.
These raids were set to take place on Sunday, June 20, 2019; however, the President tweeted that the raids had been postponed for two weeks for the purpose of allowing Congress to come up with an immigration reform plan.
Nonetheless, it is extremely important to be aware of your rights if ICE were to encounter you, your family members or friends.
